Holmes was 10/10 before missing a desperation 3. How?

Bulls were let their bigs do whatever, and their guards can come off the PnR and walk into a 3 every single possession. The coverage needs to change. I don't understand what they are doing on PnR, the guards go over the top and attack it, and they still give up open jumpers because the bigs are dropping to the FT line.

What. The. fukk.

copying the Bucks defensive scheme...past couple of years they've given up the most 3s too but the thinking is they can hit more than the other team

It’s clear we need Lauri back. Zach and Coby are good to give us 20 plus nightly but can’t rely on anybody else to be that third guy to give us 15+ consistently. That Portland game where 6 or 7 dudes in double digits isn’t common especially with the roster we have. At least we fought :ehh:
Nah.

Holmes and Bagley straight wrecking the paint is why the Bulls lost. That can't happen. Then Haliburton literally controlled the pace and got SAC whatever they wanted.

Lauri scores, but the issue was the defense tonight

This is why I wanted to grab Robin lopez for cheap.

We have some holes on this roster and we are forced to play guys out of position to supplement.

In hindsight this wasn't a really bad loss, back to back on the road etc. Just bitter because the game was right there for us .

Yeah, you guys have no front court :hhh:
The scheme we're running legit isn't taking away anything

:dead:

The guards are doing a solid job at getting over screens, and it's completely negated because even after the trailer gets over the top the guards can either attack the FT for a floater or just pull a 3 because the big is dropping so far back.

Not a bad L, but definitely an annoying one

I wonder if there were any potential deals for Chicago to move back in this draft and get Project Pat and Haliburton

the Pistons at 7, they wanted Pat. I can’t see anything beyond that because Ty wasn’t supposed to slip much more.

I like Pat a lot though and am happy with the pick. Obviously the Bulls targeted him heavy too

I also don’t know what assets we would have gotten back moving back 3 picks in what was considered a weaker draft

Both? Highly doubt it.

the idea of moving back just wasn’t something teams were going to do because the value wasn’t there. They wanted to, from the top pick on down, but only Boston and OKC were making offers and OKC wasn’t offering future 1’s

I'm good with the pick also, was just curious because of how far Haliburton fell and how some felt Pat at 4 was such a reach

WCJ is pretttttyyyyy mediocre

A pf/c who cant average 10 boards a game :scust:
He's been playing a lot better in the last few games, but this PnR thing with him needs to be addressed.

Donovan implied that he was fine with how he defended that Hield 3 at the end so idk, but there are some plays where Wendell isn't even in the frame when they run back the replay

:dwillhuh:

Donovan should went with young at the 5 down the stretch or at least alternated offense defense with young and carter Jr. Young was doing a better job of defending the pnr

Also what stood out from Donovan post game was it seems like he is encouraging lavine to take over down the stretch of games. Still feel like coby should have been taking the shots he had it going. Lavine was on the bench for awhile and came back kinda looking for his own shot.
