Turnovers aside, the most frustrating thing the Bulls do on a regular basis is not helping out. A dude will be trapped on the other end of the court by himself after picking up his dribble, and the four other players legit stand in place watching until the inevitable turnover happens.

Yea the standing around is really a concern.

It's weird. That's rec league level fundamentals. Only reason I can think of why they do it is that they're in their heads way too much. Trying to make sure that have the spacing right for whatever set they're in and forgetting the basics. It's wild how often it happens though and how they don't seem urgent about it.

Yeah, I'm with you. That seems like something blatant you clean up in one film session. At least to the point that it's not happening so frequently. It's obvious that defensive hustle has been stressed in film sessions because they're getting better in that regard. But it's crazy seeing them have no urgency when a teammate gets trapped.

In the first quarter Coby literally picked up his dribble and spun in a circle on his pivot foot three times looking for ANYBODY and no one was within camera shot and they didn't move a muscle until the turnover happened. That's wild to see at this level.

they need to erase the bad habits of Boylens offense tbh - there was no player movement at all
