Not going to take too much from 1st game in pre season from a team that hasn't played in like 10 months lol

But as I said before this is year 4 here for lavine and lauri, year 3 for Carter jr. I'll give the youth excuse to coby but for guys like valentine lavine lauri Carter jr they got to start looking like our core for the future they have had enough time.

I don’t think the bulls making the playoffs, it ain’t an indictment on the core they aren’t ready yet

My expectations is they at least make the play in. They got to at least be 9th or 10th.

I cant recall a time where a group was put together and they didn't start showing something promising in year 3 or 4. Guys like morant , trae young etc already got the future for their teams looking like something good. Lavine and lauri have to start making us look like something good now they 4 years in here.

White definitely didn't look like a PG but I'm chalking it up to nerves and the fact that he was playing against Wall with a chip on his shoulder.

He needs to lean more on LaVine while he's still getting comfortable.

Yeah, one thing I did notice was Lavine not shooting and being aggressive as he usually is, but it is just a preseason game so I'm not really worried about that. Hopefully Lavine playing a little more like himself will help Coby in the future.

Pat & Coby looked good. The offense looks better with off ball movement. Wendell had a brutal night, but its game 1 of preseason. Lauri just looks like another guy out there unfortunately and its hard to envision that changing much tbh

Defense had tons of holes and Wendell didnt fill the gaps liked I hoped he would. Again, game 1 of preseason.

Williams can potentially be something the more I watch him, thats a nice sign.

What you think about Gafford... last year when he got minutes he was productive.

solid rim runner, solid rim protection / help D. doesnt offer much on offense obv

so i guess solid career backup center or a low end starter on a good team just filling a hole at center if they have talent everywhere else

Lauri is still whatever, but he made his 3s but he's just a guy...shoulda traded him in year 2. Stretch 4s arent that valuable anymore unless they can make plays

Carter Jr seems good in theory but dude still cant shoot, only a solid shot blocker. Ppl keep trying to say he could be a Horford type guy but I cant keep coppin pleas. Dude stays injured and when he does play, he's average

Gifford is a career backup, rim runners are a dime a dozen....not much upside

Coby can be a good 2ndary playmaker, hes not a primary ball handler. Can see him having a Murray type career

Williams looked good defensively, made jumpers off the bounce..I'm pretty high on him, he'll be real good in year 3....maybe like a bigger Jaylen Brown
