We have a lot of veteran players that will fetch us 1st rd. picks. We just need to let it go.

Nah. We're 1.5 games out of 8th place, 2 out of 6th.

Our star player wants to make the playoffs and the team pushing for that shows that we're making an effort to be competitive. If we punt, Zach may look to go somewhere else.

I'm salty in general because I honestly thought the Bulls could be this competitive over the last 2 years when healthy.

This season is an ugly reminder on how little progress was made in the player development area prior to Billy taking over.

We should've been dealing with this shyt a year or two ago.

And 1.5 games back from increasing our Top 4 chances in the lottery from 8.5% to 23.5%,

3 games back from increasing that chance to 37.1% - It's some clear superstars in that top 4 IMO. Caden added to this mix would be gold, Jalen Green is a stud, Mobley?, Suggs?, Kuminga?

We gonna end up with Joe Harris 2.0, Corey Kispert or something solid, but not really moving the needle at this rate.

We're in that middle ground hell. Either get Zach some help, or punt and send him to GS for that Minn pick AND Wiseman.
shyt - Jaden Hardy is coming, Emoni Bates is coming - I think these kids got next to lead once the juggernauts get too old. We need to be there waiting.

Billy has been great but some of these loses he has to wear because besides the usual, lack of pg play, bigs getting killed poor defense as far asissingnments and no 2nd option to help lavine, 3 consistent issues come up in these losses , donovan and timeouts, challenging plays, and Billy leaving guys who had it going on the bench way too long watching leads dwindle from double digits to 1-3 then expecting starters or lavine to come in and save the day but the opposing team by that time has all the momentum. Billy can be upset but he might have to start to look in the mirror here.

The Bulls fell to 4-10 in games decided by four points or fewer, 2-2 in overtime and a league-worst 3-15 against teams above .500.

they have shown progress and been more competitive this season but this team is flawed.they can extend lavine this summer for 4 years (a raise but less than the max)and surround him with more talent

making the playoffs/play in game just to get smoked by philly or Brooklyn when half this roster probably won’t be here in 2 years meaningless

I don't think the Bulls should be giving away picks for Lonzo. I'd do Lauri and a 2nd if that meant we get to keep our 1st round picks.

Dude, I'm not trying to sit thru another rebuild. We gotta build around Zach at all cost and see where he can take us with some legitimate help.
