I'd say yes.

Before the management/coaching change, I thought there was a possibility that he'd want to leave this shyt show.

But the team is looking like we're headed in the right direction, new management/coach loves him, they're putting him in that leadership role. I feel good about us being able to keep him now. We seem to have a plan and he's at the center of it.

What has to be considered is as much recruiting as lavine will be doing to bring players to Chicago, there will also be players recruiting lavine to leave and join a team further ahead to compete. So we have to be careful to toe this development line carefully because lavine is due a deal next off season. So considering cap space I'm cool with standing pat this deadline but we need to be active this summer. Got to look like we want to win, not just a team looking like a constant lottery team for the foreseeable future.

I think AK understands this and will put a decent product out next year to persuade lavine to stay. I think lavine wants this to be his franchise.

Million dollar talent, dollar store BBIQ. Puts up killer stats sometimes but will make rock head plays that cause losing. Not that great on D besides flashy blocks, but he has bulk to not get pushed around like WCJ. Never been a big fan

My wishlist
A vet PG like CP3/Conley/Lowry type who can let Zach concentrate on scoring and that wont get killed by basic screens like White

A better frontcourt bc neither WCJ nor Lauri are it

A younger version of Thad....maybe some like Grant Williams

At least 2-3 more rotational wings, we legit have none besides Project Pat since Kid Cudi Jr(Hutch) is str8 trash and Hippopotto Porter stay hurt
