If lauri willing to sign a team friendly extension then I’m down , sounds like he wants security but if not then holla next summer. That’s a risk cuz if he has a great season he’ll get overpaid

this year is an evaluation year(see who is worth keeping under better coaching).I don’t expect the bulls to make the playoffs they’re setting themselves up for the next 5-8 years after this year

Lauri is ok but not special or a cornerstone. Best I'd do is 3/30.

And yes Crutches aka Otto P is gonna get bought out....any trade would involve us giving up a pick or taking back bad $....no thanks. Just buy him out and let him rock his shiny shirts elsewhere

That's fine by me. Our ceiling is capped with Zach being our best player. He's really good but it's clear that we will need to move on from him sooner or later. Just have to wonder how good our young guys are.

I fully expect otto porter Jr to just be a buy out.

A trade is tricky because it can hurt our cap space next off season and most teams wanting to trade will want to do so hoping we will add long term salary. Only way we make a trade like that is for a star and that person is just not on the block right now. Unless we good with a westbrook or John wall deal. So I expect him to get bought out.

That would depend on how disappointed the front office is of him and his partying irresponsibly. If they really want to get rid of him then it's likely in a buy out. They could just keep him. But either way the writing is on the wall that there is no future for him here past this season.

This is one of those years where even if you hate him, Covid will necessitate you keeping any sort of talent just in case shyt gets real

I'm just not accepting that the east is just that tough. If lavine coby lauri Patrick Williams Hutchison and carter Jr is our core for the future then they need to at least be fighting for a low playoff seed. Anything less than that says this team is still void of a star and we need to start working on another core.

I don't disagree, this is definitely the year to see if any of them are stars. I'm thinking LaVine is not a true star but a really good player, but we don't know about the other guys.

If it all falls down the 3 guys we should be looking to move are LaVine, Lauri and WCJ. We'll see how it plays out.
