The HP films arent that bad , didnt watch any of them till a couple of weeks ago was pleasantly surprised at them.

The latest newer SW films are medicore because Lucas is an awful director/story teller on the screen. If Lucas had continued with lettin others direct eps 1-3 like he did with ep 5-6 SW as a saga would of been better.

Star Wars was influenced and inspired by John Carter of Mars & Flash Gordon. No idea is new You just take what's already out there, build upon it and tell it in your own way.
