The state of New York just issued $183 million reparations to descendants of Holocaust survivors. This shyt is beyond insane

Silly posters. What Kathy is really saying is “run the play”. Securing that money probably secures her a similar amount of money from donors in her campaign chest. It’s fukked up but it’s true. Jews in NY have money and donate because of shyt like this. They already have the black vote in the bag so whatever they do or don’t to is irrelevant to them. If this country or state wanted to do something they woulda did it already.

"It was created to help Holocaust victims and their heirs recover assets deposited in banks; unpaid proceeds of insurance policies issued by European insurers; and artworks that were lost, looted, or sold under duress. The HCPO does not charge claimants for its services. Since its inception, the HCPO has responded to thousands of inquiries and received claims from all 50 U.S. states and 53 countries.

Under the direction of Superintendent Harris, HCPO has announced the resolution of Nazi Looted Art Claims for four paintings and ten 18th Century Chasubles from the Collection of Johann Bloch, completed the first joint recovery with the Carabinieri for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, and alongside the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (SPK), returned three paintings to the heirs of Dr. Ismar Littmann. For more information, visit the HCPO website."

I dont know how many slaves had insurance policies, bank accounts or high value artworks....

Yall need to read the details... this shyt was way simpler than government deciding payments for ADOS

Look at this idiot exposing hisself.

Make sure you remember this in the next thread where he's defending Jebusites and saying who is intelligent and who isn't.

Even more:

When the urban planner Robert Moses began building projects in New York during the 1920s, he bulldozed Black homes to make way for parks, and built highways through the middle of minority neighborhoods. According to one biography, Moses even made sure bridges on the parkways connecting New York City to beaches in Long Island were low enough to keep city buses — which would likely be carrying poor minorities — from passing underneath.

But Moses was no outlier. The highways and public spaces that shape our cities were often intentionally built at the expense of Black
Americans.

The article regurgitates the typical “black and brown” narrative despite the fact that in the 1920’s the Hispanic population was less than 1%

Black families were forcibly removed from their homes by racist city planner Robert Moses right there in New York. Where’s the reparations for that?

New York would intentionally not pickup the garbage in black neighborhoods in order to allow pests like roaches and mice to flourish and create the narrative that black people were unclean and also to lower the property values. I could go on and on. New York despite being considered a state in the northern part of the United States has one of the most racist histories of any state in America.

And all that was based on demonization and characterization, which lead to criminalization and a reason to justify the above.

I had to dig deeper.

I said on here a few years ago, they’re not going to give us what we’re owed until it loses value

If y’all think they’ll ever let us play on the same playing field as them you haven’t been paying attention to how Amerikka works

Don’t take this as we don’t deserve it, we do but I don’t think it’ll happen in my life time

This post deserves to be negged and I don't say that lightly. There's always some 'Well, actually' a$$hole who runs in to tell black people why we don't deserve shyt this time (ie, every time).

Freedman's Savings Bank

The Freedman's Savings Bank on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

The Freedman's Saving and Trust Company, known as the Freedman's Savings Bank, was a private savings bank chartered by the U.S. Congress on March 3, 1865, to collect deposits from the newly emancipated communities. The bank opened 37 branches across 17 states and Washington DC within 7 years and collected funds from over 67,000 depositors.[1] At the height of its success, the Freedman's Savings Bank held assets worth more than $3.7 million in 1872 dollars, which translates to approximately $80 million in 2021.[2][3]

However, the rapid development of the bank was largely driven by false claims and was coupled with mismanagement and fraud.[4] The bank failed in 1874, weighed down by speculative loans issued by the bank's white officials throughout its existence.[2][5]: 138  Historians believe that the bank's failure not only destroyed the savings of many African Americans, but also their trust in financial institutions.[5]: 211 [6][7]

And look at Tulsa , Oklahoma. Those were some well to do folks with all the accoutrements this fool is talking about. They didn't get shyt back.

This is cap. The German government has offered such services to Jews for decades. Plenty of Holocaust survivor advocacy groups with plenty of lawyers to handle this in the US as well. Zero reason for the State of NY to get involved. It's much more difficult to justify these funds for this purpose than giving it to people like the former victims of redlining in NYC. Germany has paid out billions to holocaust survivors and are paying another $1.4 Billion this year. This is not an undeserved community. And as someone else said, they were given their own Country, that gets billions in funding from the US every year.
