Hold up so everyone has crowned the Spurs this years champs, right? Do I have this correct?

I don't think it's a bandwagon thing. I think most people did not really follow them during the season except die hard fans, and then after they swept the Jazz and everyone looked back at how they hadn't lost since early April, and they said, "fukk these guys are looking like the best team out there right now." Then we saw the Clippers sweep, and I think everyone is just realizing that they look like a championship team. shyt I wouldn't be surprised if they swept OKC. I still have it going 5, but it could happen.

For some reason I see the Heat beating the Spurs in the finals. It'll take Lebron raising his level of play to godly levels which I think he's capable of. Plus the whole coming full circle thing of Lebron beating the team that handed him his first finals defeat.

Dog, I believe that D-Wade and Bron are on some Godzilla / King Kong shyt..

The Spurs have nobody that can deal with them..

One thing i've noticed is how most of us use to hate the Spurs (or still do) & never put Timmy's career in perspective. The dude has been a monster since the first day out of Wake Forest (Have his rookie card haha) but he's never been seen as that dude. :leostare: I guess if he was media accessible and/or didn't play in a major city nobody cared about, we'd be talking about him how Kobe stans drool. I think he deserves more respect and the same could be said for the Locked Up Abroad click. Tell me Manu don't look like that do ready to stick you w/ that shank in the shower & Tony Parker that dude calling the shots hence PG

Spurs beat the heat 4-2 in the finals.

All bias aside i can prolly see somethin like dis happening. And i wouldn't eam be mad because da Spurs are just really on some other shyt collectively right now. Bron n Wade will put up a serious fight, but wit Pop at da forefront and a DEEP all around great team...right now i just dunno how MIA can take it from em. Still rootin for mah nikkas but i can keep it 100.

Hope i'm wrong tho.

They might, but they're still not going to win. This is just like people talking about how Durant and Westbrook would go off. Durant, Westbrook, and Harden combined for 88 last night and they lost. Lebron and Wade can score 30-40 each every night and the Spurs will still outscore them.

I didnt say anything about a bandwagon. I'm asking a question, are we foregoing the rest of the WCF and the Finals and crowning the Spurs the champs or aren't we? I'm not talking about any other team or any other season.

Not really rooting for them at the moment, just kinda appreciating how beautifully they're playing the game...I'll lift my decade-plus long veil of indifference towards them in a couple of weeks, when I'll be rooting for them to beat the heat to an extent that's prolly not healthy

only difference is Miami defense ain't OKC's defense so there is that...

contrary to OKC the heat got Defense..
so say its a heat/spurs final
heat will have a chance if D.WADE plays game 5,6-like level for at least 3 games of the series..

AND miller keeps up with the 3s..

Lebron is pretty much on point.. so he just has to maintain...

Spurs are playing like old champs.. they can be beat if the opposing teams swarms both Defense and Offense.. without fearing the fouls..

just rotate haslem/battier/turiaf on the fouls..
