its a myth? :childplease: Says who?

Hey ya single was platinum

I like the way you move was gold

but if what yall saying about spearkbox was true why his solo album aint put up better numbers?

the quality hasnt fallen off

The Way You Move is a gold single that peaked @ #1 on the Hot 100. It also became the 22nd biggest single of the 2000's. While not as huge as "Hey Ya", it wasn't some lightweight single that got little or moderate play.

Big's solo album didn't put up better numbers because it wasn't an OutKast album. Some artists go solo and become bigger than the group/duo, but OutKast is one of the exceptions.

big solo album didnt put up numbers due to jive...grand hustle nem givin him the run around..

he had legs with 3 singles..all 3 singles didnt show up..kuz jive didnt wanna budge on it...

he coulda ate good jus off the mary j blige single ..n the street single with raekwon n dre...that made alot of noise..

jive yanked both songs off the album..n kept dre off of it vocally all together..

so he had to redo the album...n reshop it again...

I'm an OG Outkast stan, had the LaFace Christmas sampler with the original "Player's Ball" on it and all that, before the single even dropped off their debut.

And I think "The Love Below" was fukking terrible, aside from "A Day In The Life....". shyt was trash. I like "Hey Ya" as a novelty song, but Big Boi was the one actually holding down the Outkast brand with "Speakerboxx". Andre was on some bullshyt, and keep in mind he's my favorite rapper all-time, so I don't criticize him lightly.

Im sitting here listening to the love below and just thought of how blessed Big Boi is to have been able to have his album included with this one....

Big Boi should never have anything negative to say about Dre......

And i fux with big boi........but very few people who bought that double cd did it to hear his album....

11 million album sales.......thats crazy

Most of The Love Below didn't age well at all. Some of it is pure garbage. The rest is "Prototype" and that song at the very end where he actually raps.

I always thought love below was wack...sounded like shytty version of a prince album.

Ceelos song writing and singing are vastly superior.

On a side note how many knew ceelo wrote that dont cha wish your gf track for p*ssycat dolls.
