Greenville is a major city in the upstate of SC. And it looks like the most expensive cribs are with close proximity to downtown and major attractions.

I used to live in SC and I had a very dope apartment for only $800

Yes! I remember when I used to go to Dallas a lot I would be downtown turning up and would spend very little....can’t do that in Cali.

Insurance is going up and will continue to go up because Qtlanta has one of the highest fukking ratio of personal injury lawyers in the south east.

I notice in threads like these posters always show expensive apartments in parts of cities that nikkas never had interest in moving to anyway.

The simple answer is because of the apartments posted in the OP link. I wanted to use the exact same format and website.

So, all I did was change the city from his link.

I'm certain that there are much more affordable apartments in the Greenville, SC area as well

98% of Americans don’t know the actual meaning of cost of living. You always hear people talking about income tax and rent payments.


nikkas forget the other taxes that exist. Usually a state with little income tax or no income tax will have high taxes in regressive tax to make up for it. Sales tax, gas tax etc.


Other cost people seem to get amnesia about when talking about cost of living.


1.) Auto insurance
2.)Auto car payments
3.) Auto repair - You will deal with those more frequently in a city where you have to drive a lot.
4.) Utilities
5.) Wages - some states (North/South Carolina/Louisiana) have shytty wage rates which correlated with why some of the southeastern states are among the poorest states in America.
6.) If a state is a right to work state with no Union then you can kiss that high paying union job you had in a prior state goodbye.
