They’re running a marathon of the seasons on HBO and it’s the episode in Italy. It was always hilarious what Big p*ssy was saying while having the nightmare after running into the Elvis guy. “You better not say what you saw Jimmy, I’ll shove that Elvis shyt right up your ass” “I’ll put a rutabaga in your mouth Jimmy, keep you quiet” :russ: The one time Tony decided not to be a cooz hound was with the probably the baddest broad on the show Annalisa.

Yea and they always wanted meadow to be a physician... Instead she's a future mob lawyer married to a mob guys son

I'm of the belief tony got whacked (not sure why people try to say it didn't happen). Would've been interesting to have some sequel to see how shytty carm and AJ were doing. Meadow would've had to support them both.

AJ would've gotten deep into pills. 100% chance of that happening in 2007 jersey

Jersey crew absorbed or puppeted by nyc. Paulie installed as de facto boss bc he can be manipulated.

Carm spending her remaining years trying to recover as much of Tony's hidden assets as possible.
Johnny Sac's demise and the effect on his family was a plausible forecasting of Tony's.

He should have gotten out of the business immediately after this phone call with his lawyer:

I just watched this Penguin show :scust:

Amount of people that gave this show glowing reviews is concerning. What a nothingburger of a show
It was okay. All it did was make me want to start The Sopranos from the beginning again, which is what ended up happening.

Love this scene

Shows carmine jr is a lot smarter than he comes off. He purposely sits them down, drops a bomb to make them stay fighting, plays stupid, and basically tells them he knows they both killed rusty

All while looking like a dumbass and noone being any the wiser. Hes in florida fixing wet t shirt contests living the life while their killing each other and havibg panic attacks and mid life crises.

Only guy on whole show whos always in a good mood.

@Whips-n-Chains what season/s of The Sopranos would you say Tony was at his peak influence, financial success, and power?
hmmmm...

Maybe S4 before Ralph was killed. Ralph was the biggest earner in the family, and Tony also had the HUD thing going, and enough clout and trust with NY to have Carmine trust him to off Johnny, then Johnny trust him to off Carmine.

Pretty much from the start of the Esplanade project until Tony B whacking Phil's brother, so mid season 3 until end season 5. From the point where Phil's brother got killed, his relationship with NY started to deteriorate more and more.

By Season 6B his biggest earners were all dead (Vito and Ralph), Johnny Sack, his pragmatic ally in NY was in jail then dead, Barone Sanitation gets sold, his hitters are dead/incapacitated (Chrissy, Sil) etc.

Carmine Junior low key was the smartest of them all. Once it became clear he wasn't going to be boss, he takes a back seat, and enjoys his wealth...something Tony and Johnny never got to do. He'll always have some influence in that family without the need to be involved in any violence, nor the day to day shyt that will get him indicted. He can pull up here n there to broker sit downs and help iron out disputes if he wants, collect some tribute, and earn of legit biz.

And rhe thing is, rewatching his talks when the war for boss was on, rusty wants to hit them and carmine doesnt say “i dont wanna win the war”. He says he dowsnt wanna play it like that. He falls back and lets them kill each other off and is completely off the hook at same time.

Butchie is looking for carmines ok at sit down that gets phil killed as well. For all the shyt they talk how hes retarded, tony and phil and other bosses always go to him. Tony saying “why the fukk would you say that” is the clue that he meant to say it. Also a clue with the rusty call out. He knows.

Im not saying its a master plan. But hea like so mafia he really understands the game deeper than they do. He picks up from his dream of his dad with the paper crown and empty box that being the boss is stupid. Let them be the boss. While he decides whos boss forever.

Half the beefs on th show start with mouthing off and ego and greed. By playing the fool, noone takes him seriously or see him as a threat until he plays puppet with rusty to feel people out. Yet he causes nothing but trouble and they cant even tell when it happens right in front of them.

Rusty and those guys were pulling the strings and wanted Carmine as a figure head b/c they knew they could keep pulling strings. They just didn't have the clout to be boss. Carmine realized this and didn't want anymore bloodshed. Maybe he realized his own limitations, which is powerful in itself.

When it's all said and done he's chillin on Ocean front property while everyone else is dead or in jail.
