The characters/cast interactions really take the show to another level. Part of the reason that the last season is so depressing is because that's when you truly start missing characters, interactions, etc. All of a sudden the family dinners are gone, the random "character ringing the doorbell to speak with Tony" scenes fade, the Vesuvio restaurant scenes have a darker vibe, the guys aren't all together chilling outside the deli, Junior isn't Junior anymore, etc.

It's also one reason the show is so rewatchable. Just talking about the darkness of that last season makes me want to go watch an early ep where much of Tony's day was spent stressing about Meadow's soccer coach leaving. Or the annoyance of Junior budding into business.

The same thing happened to Power in its last season. Ghost is literally at war with everybody in his life, his only motivations for doing anything are for the Queens Child Project, characters get killed every episode. The only time we see Truth, Ghost is drinking by himself in the middle of the day just waiting for a character to come in so he can argue with them. Everything feels darker, colder, and more depressing, like filming was closed to a small crowd of people. The show's world changed forever after Tommy killed Angela.

I dont understand why Tony didn't say anything to Carmella about the money she took a few episodes back. He knows and she knows he knows.

And then on this episode after Chris intervention, she left a message saying she was staying at a hotel. What's up with that? Was the actress unavailable for filming?
