I'm hooked now.
I find myself looking fwd to watching it. It's a different show, more about the idiosyncrasies of the different characters personalities than the actual workings of the mob. I feel like these are people I could run into in real life, even ole racist Tony and AJ.
I'm even watching it slower to savor it.
Oh and side note. If an Italian ever calls me a moolinyan, I'm firing on him.
I don’t know how old you are, but this show gets realer the older you get.
When I watched this show in real time in my early 20s, it was just a really cool, entertaining and well done mob show. Now rewatching it in my 40s, it hits different. Now, it’s something much more. Now it’s a depiction of a grown man in America and all the pressures that come with it….career, relationships with family and friends, childhood traumas, anxieties, and responsibilities that come from being a whole grown ass man in in America at this time.
I feel the same way about Breaking Bad.
