The whole thing about the Wire is that everything is cyclical. In a way Seasons 3-5 are a prequel for seasons 1 and 2. What else interesting could they show us? String and Avon taking over blocks? We saw that with Marlo. How Bubbles becomes a junkie? We saw that with DuQuan. How Omar becomes a super gangster? Michael. How Daniels becomes a good cop? We saw that with Carver.

I'm not saying it couldn't be good, but it would have to be more than just an origin story of the main players.

That whole era is ill and the best time period for mafioso shyt. It would have to be impeccably cast though. It's big shoes to fill casting young Uncle Jun.

nah i wanna see avon and his brothers and sister come the fukk up from scratch... with him actually listen to stringer put this plan together from start.. that had the cops not even know what his face looked like in the 2000s

i wanna see prop joe take over a whole entire side of bmore with deal making and shyt.. linking up with the greeks for the first time

can you imagine beat cop mcnaulty... him and bunk as partners for like 3-4 seasons worth.. daniels back when he was a bad cop on the take..

shyt can we get a real marlo and snoop and chris come up... how are these 3 literally psychopaths in these streets... murdering entire familes for one guy MAYBE saying "marlo sucks dikk"

omar starting to stick nikkas up... and becoming a legend in the process



the sopranos sounds good too... but i really think they've told that story in flashbacks and "stories" in the show already... they flashbacked shyt about anything i just named.. except those promos and that was when they were kids
