I remember playing this game when I was a kid, except we used to call it "Shopping at Nordstrum" we would go to the mall at lunch in highschool and split up inside Nordstrums and out of nowhere some white faced guy with a black suit would always show up.
This is not scary.

Just played for the first time.
The setting and music helps a lot.
That said, after I got the 3rd page I decided to be a dikk and turn off the flashlight. It was ight. You can tell he's behind you when the screen fukks up a bit but nothing serious. I went inside some area with a bunch of turns so I turned the flashlight back on. Found 2 pages inside. As soon as I leave, turn the flashlight off and make a right, this fukker grabs me from around the corner. Had me like

It looks like a poor man's 'Amnesia'. I can see how it would be scary though, that slender man character is pretty creepy.
