Nah they a mix of them, mostly Bantu because the slave trade was centered in Zanzibar but there were Horners sent to India also. One of their most famous leaders was Habasha actually.
You ever heard at some point India was often referred to as Eastern Ethiopia? IDK how true it is I remember reading years ago, but just tried to do a quick google search but I don't see anything that looks too official.
