To be fair, the team didn't really think highly of Love before Ricky ever entered the picture. His biggest supporter (McHale) had gotten fired. I actually understand WHY he's frustrated and he has a right to be mad, but he really thinks he's better than what he is, which is why he doesn't get much support from his own squad.

Then let him walk and start over again. :yeshrug:

They have to bring him back unless they land Embiid. There aren't any other quality bigs out there. :yeshrug:

You should keep him and hire a defensive coach who believes in bigs... Even if you select Embiid, it's always good to have the mix of youth and veterans.

Plus a decent rim protecting big can be had in FA

Brehs, the NBA lottery is beyond rigged. Last great franchise (Bulls) to be in the lottery that had a franchise player (Rose) got the 1st pick. And they had the 9th worst record that year. :smugfavre:

We're gonna be :eat: with a top 2 pick. Mitch and Ainge gonna go rock-paper-scissors for the 1st pick. :manny:

this. remember when New Orleans won the lottery for Anthony Davis while still being owned by the league. remember when cleveland won the lottery when LeBron was coming out. eventhough they had the best odds, the team with the best odds almost never gets the #1 pick. Rose to Chicago when they were the 9th worst. etc.

I can already tell you how the lottery will unfold:

1. Lakers - Andrew Wiggins (next face of the league being groomed by the mamba on the marquee team in the league)
2. Bucks - Joel Embiid (they're being sold so the league wants to hike up the price by giving the new owners a top pick....also don't want to raise too many suspicions that the lottery is rigged by gifting the Lakers and Celtics the top 2 picks)
3. Celtics - Jabari Parker (rivalry with Wiggins makes this the new age Magic/Bird)
4. Sixers - Julius Randle (forms nice trio with MCW and Noel)
5. Magic - Dante Exum (new age Penny)

this is the best case scenario for the league. Wiggins and Parker have to go to LA and Boston. Exum must go to Orlando. Embiid and Giannis could become the African Kareem/Oscar. Randle is irrelevant so he'll be sent to Philly to punish them for the embarrassing tanking job they tried this year.

Wizards won the lottery after gun gate with Arenas/Crittendon and Abe Polin passed away during the season and his wife was at the lottery with new majority owner Ted Leonsis. She was wearing her "lucky jacket" too :troll: Got John Wall

And the Cavs won it the year after Bron left. Won it again last year.

Always gotta be a captivating story for the lottery :troll:
