Y'all right, fukk it draft Smart pickup Love next year and see what happens. Maybe we could do something like Smart/Chandsome/Love in 2 years. Kobe better take a fukking cut,
this fanbase is downright cringe-worthy sometimes. Like yall really sitting here blaming management for winning games? The roster couldnt be worse in Lakers standards. its the NBA, players can ball and win a game on any given night. There's too much talent in the lottery to be whining after every W. Embiid and Wiggins were never gonna be Lakers unless we got flat-out lucky. The complaining is ironic considering Kobe (goat laker) was drafted at 12. Yall wont Exum but dont even know why. I think Marcus Smart is better and more proven anyways when it comes to combo guard prospects. Mitch knows talent and has drafted well. Im fine with whatever pick we get. shyt Id love Aaron Gordon on this squad, dude is stud. Its impossible to predict who will be franchise players in this draft. I mean a guy like Gary Harris could be a legit all-star, and somehow Julius randle flying under the radar.
he's had 1 first round draft pick the last 6 years. how can you just attribute the Marc Gasol pick to luck? the Lakers have had 1 lottery pick in the last 15 years, and that was all-star Andrew Bynum. Farmar at 26 was great, as he filled a hole on a championship squad. Sasha Vujacic was drafted in the late first round and he turned out to be a championship piece. You can only judge the draft by the approach the team was taking. We've been contenders for so long, so we drafted like contender, selecting only niche playersMitch hasn't drafted well at all.
Tell me one player that's even worth a damn that he drafted the past 6 years.
Marc (luck), Bynum (not even his choice, he wanted Sean May), and Farmar. That's it.
he's had 1 first round draft pick the last 6 years, so the question is unfair

These guys just love to hate Mitch. He's regularly drafted solid rotational players for a decade. Vujacic, Bynum, Turiaf, Farmar, Gasol, Patrick Beverley, Toney Douglas, and even Ryan Kelly looks decent. Mitch also brought in a bunch of contributors through trade/FA: Pau, Ariza, Josh Powell, Shannon Brown, Artest, Chris Paul (), Hill and Dwight. Even this season he's found a bunch of hidden gems. Bazemore, Henry, Johnson and Marshall were all outcasts and have all shown they can play.he's had 1 first round draft pick the last 6 years. how can you just attribute the Marc Gasol pick to luck? the Lakers have had 1 lottery pick in the last 15 years, and that was all-star Andrew Bynum. Yeah, because he traded them all. That's on him, and further proves what a fukking moron he is. Uh, because Marc was chosen in the 2nd round and it was because of his last name and who is brother was? Yeah, but Mitch didn't even want Bynum. I agree.
Mitch for a long time was drafting on "triangle fit" instead of the best player available. The scouts wanted Barbosa in 2003 and Mitch ignored them and drafted Brian Cook. The same thing happened a year later when he drafted Sasha over Anderson Varejão.That's how we ended up with these one dimensional players in Brian Cook, Sasha, Kareem Rush and Luke Walton.he's had 1 first round draft pick the last 6 years. how can you just attribute the Marc Gasol pick to luck? the Lakers have had 1 lottery pick in the last 15 years, and that was all-star Andrew Bynum. -really does remind me of Dwade. He's actually alot stronger than DWade was when he came out of college. He weighs 225, prime Dwade weighed 220. So from a physical standpoint I'd say he's ready day one. He's the best rebounding guard in the draft, can score, can defend, and is a capable playmaker. Id love him here, he probably has the best set of intangibles as well. zero aggression issues
