Wow is all I have to say.

I stand by my statement that this show is kind of overrated (still have a lot left to see so :yeshrug:) but god damn that nikka Forrest is just killing his role, easily some of the best acting I have ever seen on a TV show. Damn near Walter White quality acting and thats saying a whole lot.

This specific episode sent nikka thru so many emotions its crazy. I had not enjoyed this show on a top quality of all time level until this season, but this episode was one of the best I have seen from a TV show period. Prior to starting season 5 I aint even know Forrest was gone be on here and I was mad that Glenn Close was out of there (she had the best character to me up until this point), but damn that nikka brought the quality of this shyt up tremendously. This shyt went from borderline top 20 to for sure top 15 at the worse.

To give props to the writers, something they have done better than most shows is not waste too much time on the side stories while still keeping the side stories as part of the loop. How Sopranos wasted time with the wife, how Breaking Bad wasted some time with Marie and Walt Jr ect, and how The Wire wasted time with a bunch of shyt, this show does not do that at all. They touch on the side stories, go back to the main shyt, and the side story will come back at some point without taking anything from the main plot line. Writers need to do this a lot more, shyt like Homeland and Ray Donovan can learn a lot from this shyt.

Also, is it just me or does Mackie easily have the least irritating wife of all main characters in TV history lol. I know most of you nikkas on here hate women in general :wrist: and definitely hate every single TV wife ever, but Ms Mackie gives you no reason to dislike her at all, that is rare as hell.

Last thing, I aint know so many people who are currently on TV shows or have been recently showed up on here at some point. There has been literally 20-30 different people who has appeared on some of the GOAT shows or things that are on now. Both of the Mexican twins from Breaking Bad, Tyrus from breaking Bad, a bunch of people from Gang Related, bunch of people from Power and 50 Cent movies, ect. This show must have gotten a lot of love back then (I aint start watching TV series until like 09-10 when I got out of the streets). I still think its kind of overrated, but I can see how some people can put this show up there :yeshrug:.

AND IM STILL NEVER GOING TO WATCH NO HOE ASS KING ARTHUR AND THE KNIGHTS OF JUSTICE ASS FANTASY LAND ASS GAME OF THRONES. shyt IS GARBAGE AND FOR INTERNET NERDS, fukk OUTTA HERE. GIVE ME SOME REAL LIFE shyt ANY DAY OVER SOME OLE ZELDA ASS SHOW.

for the most part the shield was always a good/decent show, than season 5 came along and the writers must've taken some hgh or some shyt cause that season is up there with any of the goats. Forrest came through and took that show to top tier status :ohlawd:
than that season finale :whew::ooh::merchant::damn:
i'd put that season finale up there with the red wedding, breaking bad season 4 finale, ect... one of the goats

Yeah Kavanaugh brought that shyt to another level, he made that show his. If another actor played that role it would of been met with the :rudy: for how outlandish it was written towards the end tho.

Kavanaugh v Mackie is some top level shyt tho:ohlawd:

I think part of the problem with Vic's wife is the actress who played the part. She was the creator's wife, and honestly I think a better actress could have prevented the problem where people see her the way they do.
On the other hand, I think Anna Gunn did a solid job acting in Breaking Bad, but people see her character that way too. But they were really totally different characters. I think Skylar was meant to seem condescending initially, but Vic's wife was supposed to be sympathetic for the most part.

Vic's wife came across as whiny, but if you really think about what the character had to deal with....she worked her butt off at the hospital, had kids with autism and a girl becoming a teenager...but Vic was hardly there regular. That could make you lose your mind, but the actress that played it...it came out as whiny. A better actress finesses that a little better I think.

Anna Gunn did a better job with Skylar, but the transition from condescending to fear was a little clunky. Partly because I think Skylar came across as sort of a stereotype tall cold russian or something in the beginning. Not that she is russian, just reminded me of that.

Also another hidden star. The female lead on CASTLE plays an eastern euro girl in a Shield ep. Looks a lot different like she had some work done...or maybe its just the glam up of being a star in a show now vs a realistic part/look.

I actually think Vic's wife was one of the best actors on the show, and I liked the fact that she was one of the least irritating wives in all of the top notch drama shows. Yeah, her role came off as whiny, but with the type of person she was it fit and she killed it at being the whiny wife who had no idea her husband was out there doing bullshyt. The scene where she was suppose to set him up at the park on the bench, she killed that scene.

Honestly if watch enough TV shows (Current & older) and use IMDB, you'll notice this shyt all time. "24" is another example of a TV show where you'll notice all these actors from other TV shows & movies.
