@The HONORABLE SKJ did you peep this breh:whoo: its really overlook how the dominicain were eating in the 80s too, is there any documentaries on them :jbhmm: @Nature Boy Ric Flair

:ohlawd: Man I luuuv hearing about Old School NYC street stories...

Those dudes created the urban landscape which provided the sound track for the 90s Crack Rap Era Rap Artists to paint pictures from such as AZ..JADAKISS...CHILDREN OF THE CORN...ESCOBAR..BIGGIE..JAY Z etc.

I was able to witness those Wild Cowboys Dominican era in Uptown ...

These cats were the protypical 'PAPI' we often hear about in rap

Like the crazy Dominican kid whom lived upstairs from me on 166th and Washington in the Bronx...

This Lil mofo couldn't have been no more than 16 and was running a crew which was throwing crackheads off the roof like straydogs :snoop:

Yes it was the BEST of times and the WORST of times :mjcry:

Interesting documentary.

By the way, the leader of the gang "La Compañía" was murdered by a kid in Dominican Republic in 2012. His wife was also kidnapped recently, but was rescued on time before they started cutting off her limbs. Looks like he owed someone a great deal of money here in Dominican Republic.
