I don't know if the play was dirty but it really sucks. It looked like we might finally get a good series and now this probably won't go more than 5 games. This has to be the worst playoffs ever. Hopefully the finals will be good but I doubt it
The loss is 3x damaging for the Spurs because if they had still somehow won today:
They could've sat Kawhi out for game 2 (regardless of the MRI results), taken that 50 point "revenge" beating by Golden State, and just looked ahead to games 3-4 in SAS with Kawhi well-rested and a 1-1 series.
But as it is now, they either gotta go all in game 2 or just put faith they can get out of an 0-2 hole in SAS if Kawhi needs extra time.
