It actually was supposed to be the end if the show didn't come back for season 5. At the time Vince Gilligan was in negotiations with AMC, and the fate of the show wasn't known yet.

Yeah, HBO proved it knew how to market and handle an elite, dark drama with 'The Wire'

Well, he never wanted it to go longer than 4-5 seasons anyway....he's said that for years. Let me break it down.

"Mad Men" renegotiated their contract for some insane amount of money, leaving very little for "Breaking Bad" and "The Walking Dead". Which is one of the reasons Frank Darabont was fired from "The Walking Dead". And AMC owns that show, so the writers, etc. had basically no leverage to negotiate.

AMC tried to pull the same shyt with Vince Gilligan and "Breaking Bad", and he basically told them "fukk y'all, I'll take this show to another network"....because Sony owns it, not AMC. After that, AMC asked Vince how many eps he wanted, and they came up with 16. So he got what he wanted.

Naw. Could it have served as a series finale? Sure. But certainly all loose ends aren't tied up yet so it wouldn't of been perfect.

The "Perfect" series finale would of be the end of Supernatural Season 5. But they had to fukk that up by going more seasons........

The walking dead us goat and break bad barely gets 1.5 million viewers, they're lucky to be on.

damn nikka its not about numbers...Quality over Quantity....Walking dead is good but it gets alot of views due to it being a zombie show and 90% of america loves zombie movies/shows...

You honestly saying Walking Dead is a better show then Breaking Bad? Better written? better acting? better storyline? ect?
