if they do move, does the team have to adopt the name of the city? I'm think they should be just called "The Raiders"

i honestly can see kroenke & a lot of other owners trying to block the raiders from moving to san diego.....
they want the Rams to grab the southern california football audience, but with the raiders on a up swing and u give them San Diego by mexico at that, plus the raiders will not have to play second to anyone in terms of other sports it's over
do the rams really think they going to grab the headlines from the lakers #1 in L.A. followed by the Dodgers and then the Kingsthey crazy...... they going to get the same attention as the anaheim ducks
You buggin'.. If the Lakers don't improve in a year or two and the Dodgers keep losing in the playoffs and don't get their tv contract situation ironed out the Rams, if they're winning, could do some heavy damage in LA. The Kings are respected but ain't nobody trippin' off them like that
The thing with SD is that the city wants to a new stadium right next to the old one which is Qualcom but the Chargers owner, Spanos, wants it downtown next to the convention center. That's been the entire failure to iron something out since day one

Exactly. Spanos, the Chargers owner, wants the stadium downtown #1 and #2 doesn't want to put up a dime. He wants the the whole thing paid for by the city and the tax payer.
Ain't shyt getting done in Oakland. At least in San Diego they offered roughly 350 million from a hotel tax and other funds. The city of Oakland cannot and will not offer a dime.
