I was on there pretty heavy several months ago, but one good way is to look at the other prompts ppl are using in the discord chats.
But honestly, it's gotten so good you prob don't have to do much now.
Just tell it like, "young, black woman riding a bike down a busy street in Manhattan in the day time. She is wearing jeans, a black jacket and a baseball cap --upbeta --16:9 --photorealistic --natural light --Cannon EOS"
That's just a made up example of how i would do it months ago. But now you can probably prompt far less and get great results

Couple links I have in my AI Gen bookmarks, style guides and examples.
Keep in mind though that V5 of Midjourney is very photorealistic by default. It's improved a great deal but getting something jazzy/creative out the gate with simple prompts is a little harder. If you don't want it to look like real photo make sure you include prompts that say otherwise.

The difference in quality between the first few generated images posted there and the ones posted recently is insane.

--upbeta - this is telling it to upscale the image
--16:9 - how do u want the picture sized? 16x9, 3x5 etc
--photorealistic - telling it to look more like a photo
--natural light - giving it addtl lighting
--Cannon EOS - this is the camera lens type you want the image to mimick. I made this one up myself. You can just Google photo lenses and pick a good one.
I will agree tho, there are many I don't know the workings of. Alot of it is trial and error. Seeing what other ppl do with prompts and try it yourself to see what it does

So it's just doing what humans can already do, only faster. It will eventually hit a limit that it can never go beyond because human beings are limited ourselves. It's not doing anything unique at this point. It's just copying and pasting info that already exists. Only shyt that's impressive is the speed it can do these things. Other than that, AI ain't shyt without the data human beings give it.
