It says something that Sam has been giving a lot of credit for his success to Brock Purdy because he learned from him by seeing what goes into his game preparation. It takes a lot of humility to go from the top QB taken in the first round after lighting it up at USC to having to sit behind and learn from Mr. Irrelevant, who is also younger. But it clearly has made a world of difference for him.
