Damn the Blazers have had Walton Bowie Oden and Roy fall victim to career altering injuries. If Greg and Brandon wouldn't have got hurt the Blazers would be contending at this very moment. Hell, if Roy alone was healthy him Aldridge and Batum would have made some noise over the years.

They did, homie could have still became a top 10 player in the NBA. It was his NBA injuries that did him in. Even with the leg injury out of UK, buddy still had more talent than 95% of the NBA at 7'1. His skill level and BBIQ was off the charts.

this shyt makes me wonder how many potentially great careers were lost because of how behind the sports docs was back then.

He would of had that shyt taken care of, promptly, if he played today. Trainer would have told him to get an xray immediately after the game, etc.

:damn: at how his body torqued under the hoop.

He played for Portland, it would have happened no matter what.

I don't know why people always say they fukked up for not taking Jordan.

They didn't NEED Jordan.

They had an All-Time top 5 SG already in Clyde Drexler.

It's a much better argument that they should've taken Charles Barkley, who ended up going behind Jordan, because Clyde Drexler and Charles Barkley would have probably went to a few more NBA Finals.

Hell, Sam Perkins would've made a decent pick for the Blazers as well.

On the hindsight, blazers took the right pick at the time. They already had Clyde Drexler. If the could have drafted The Dream before the Rockets.... :mindblown:

But damn. How unlucky the Blazer's was. First, it was Walton, then Bowie, then Oden. They sure have a bad luck with big men.
