Can't lie, would love to see Ryback in Lucha Underground.
Maybe a super stable of Ryback and Mantaza, with Ryback taking care of Cage for Dario.

When he had the crowd behind him the trigger was never pulled. Seems to happen a lot and then when people no longer get that reaction WWE can just claim it's not working out.

they don't want anyone becoming bigger than the WWE, which is ridiculous when you think about it because there's literally no other way for any of these guys to become superstars. so they can claim they're interested in creating stars, but history shows they really aren't.

the WWE should be the foundation, the LAUNCHING PAD for these guys to become huge stars. instead they are used merely to help get the brand over :snoop:

Vince still mad at jesse ventura fukking him over after he got famous crossover wise from the Predator. He can't control that shyt so he'd rather shut someone down than allow them to grow outside of his approval.

do you think its a legitimate concern?

hypothetically let's say these guys crossover into movies and other forms of media. what happens when they don't need the WWE anymore? what happens when they don't WANT to be in WWE anymore?

Nah its not legitimate at all, its all ego.
A crossover star brings in higher ratings, more money for everyone, and helps teh business as a whole by giving it higher profile.
Vince just has ego, he doesn't want wrestlers to not need him and not be on their knees begging him.

what happens when _____ starts getting more offers in movies?

the money is good, its a much lighter workload, and it doesn't require traveling year round and inflicting physical harm on your body.

at what point do you turn around to vince and say "hey it's been fun"

When its not fun anymore or when you can make more by going into the other field full time and just becoming a part timer.
No one should want to be in wrestling just to be a wrestler, instead of parlaying that into something else or making more money

ideally they would be a company with several huge part time stars.

i love that brock can wrestle 4-5 times a year and still be a big deal, imagine if they had 10 guys like that.

but back to what we were saying, if you're making money in movies and other shyt, you might not WANT to jeopardize your physical health by wrestling even if it's a part time basis.

I agree, but if you are like Rock and you just love wrestling and you can get by with only 5 shows a year and out of that 1 match or 2. its the best of both worlds. I'm sure Vince hates it though.

Wade, Cody, Ryback, Sandow all have a pretty good chance of going back if they want it (being that Sandow was the only one out of those who didn't willingly leave). I see an interesting storyline down the future if those 4 decide to come back after fruitful runs on the indy's/Japan and invade as a stable :ehh:
