Russia has been very patient they can easily take the U.S. approach and carpet bomb the country from East to West then invade after, easily turning Ukraine into Grozny or Aleppo.

This what I also been telling people! Yes there is resistance from Ukrainian, but Russia is making it easy for them since they are brothers/same people.

You can’t make the brother sister argument if they are targeting hospitals and schools. Bad planning poor equipment and untrained ground force. Their troops are literally starving in Ukraine.

When I say brother it is regarding to the history between Russia and Ukraine starting with Rus Kiev to Dutchy of Moscow to USSR. Ukraine and Georgia, Bielorussia are the Three states that Russia would never want to let go. Obviously it is bad that there are civil victims. Regarding being hungry, I read enough about Russian army culture to know that the state can sacrifice thousands of soldiers in a war like it is nothing.

That was just for a week and a half. Now they have ramped up artillery. Kharkiv pretty much looks like this now

Also, they can’t really do these types of bombings from jets because Ukraine does have decent anti aircraft weapons unlike Chechnya, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq etc

Their forces are dwarfed by Russias. Instead of complaining about the tactics of a defending guerilla army, maybe stop the invasion?
You are the ones complaining that Russia is bombing civilian areas, when it has been shown multiple times that Ukrainians are using civilian vehicles to transport troops, using schools as training bases and encouraging their population to violently fight Russians

From a historical context I agree with you, however make no mistake this is predominantly about NATO advancing east, and access to Ukraine's resources. As for the troops, Russia spends 5% of its GDP on its military. There’s no reason why 80 years after World War II Russian troops should be starving to death. From top to bottom they are being embarrassed which will lead to chemical weapons and possibly nukes.

Kiev is the ancestral home of Russians. They are not going to opt to totally bombard the the city.
