Not a bad idea to be checking all reports, there's been plenty of false ones, but it does appear the Russians are firing on the facilities and it appears to have started some fire which has not been put out, but according to media reports the fire has not threatening the nuke reactors themselves:

A live-streamed security camera linked from the homepage of the nuclear power plant showed what appeared to be armored vehicles rolling into the facility’s parking lot and shining spotlights on the building where the camera was mounted. There are then what appear to be bright muzzle flashes from vehicles and then nearly simultaneous explosions in the surrounding buildings. Smoke then rises and drifts across the frame.

Live updates: Russian troops shelling nuclear power station

What are you even talking about "the media"?

The statement was made on Twitter by a Ukrainian government official. No one in media has made the statement independently or claimed it was true, they have only reported that he said it.

The nuclear missiles moving claim was solely on Twitter, as you say. No mainstream media that I saw reported that except for a couple that debunked it as being old.

It's literally Twitter that you're bytching about, traditional media ain't had shyt to do with it.

Governments can lie and lie all the time. :hubie:

SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY
and Russia doesnt have a free press , so of course we wouldnt hear anything that would paint Russia in a bad light.
its some weirdo behavior to be :cape: for Russia.

So you think Russia has love for black people?

Im sorry to tell you breh but that doesnt make any sense. The only pro Russian news in the US was RT and maaaaybe Fox under MAGA times. Everything else is overwhelmingly negative. They portray the US in a bad light over there too. All they run are stories about how America invades the middle east and beats up Black people with police batons 24/7. So I dont know what Im supposed to answer that question with, Russia is an opp always has been since at least 1917 were not gonna run any positive news about them, but I do believe most of the shyt in the news about them because theyre grimey as fukk. But you gotta learn to differentiate news from propaganda breh. Why is the only two countries to vote AGAINST condemnation of Nazi imagery and ideals the US and Ukraine? Thats facts right there.

As far as Russia loving black folk idk what you mean either, you mean like some pawgery  I dont think they're anymore racist than any cac anywhere, theyre slavs of course theyre fukking racist. But one thing is cultural racism and institutional racism is another deal. Nazi insignia on army troops is two steps above MAGA shyt and we were calling the Trump administration facists, why not Zelenskys?

Putin almost single-handedly ended democracy in Russia and has been running the entire country with an iron fist for over two decades. He's only a "moderate" in the sense that he hasn't tried to bring Communism back.

Putin's #2 is a boring ass bureaucrat with no meaningful controversies that I'm aware of except typical Russian corruption. There are other scary people in Putin's cabinet who might try to take power if Putin dies (Igor Sechin), but at worse they'll be similar to Putin rather than anything worse than him, and probably smart enough to back off considering Putin appears to have gone off the deep end to the detriment of the country.

Not to say I think anyone should try to assassinate Putin. That will only heighten and prolong conflict between Russia and the West and potentially strengthen people's resolve. Nothing is going to change in Russia unless it happens from within.
Its kinda weird to see Medvedev talk as greasy as Putin on twitter. He's the supposed reformer.
