They wouldn’t. It’s propaganda
Media got their new storyline with Ukraine
They get to fearmongering reports for profit
I'm going to need this to be confirmed by someone who isn't Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
Not a bad idea to be checking all reports, there's been plenty of false ones, but it does appear the Russians are firing on the facilities and it appears to have started some fire which has not been put out, but according to media reports the fire has not threatening the nuke reactors themselves:
A live-streamed security camera linked from the homepage of the nuclear power plant showed what appeared to be armored vehicles rolling into the facility’s parking lot and shining spotlights on the building where the camera was mounted. There are then what appear to be bright muzzle flashes from vehicles and then nearly simultaneous explosions in the surrounding buildings. Smoke then rises and drifts across the frame.

10x WORSE THAN CHORNOBYL
lmaoo. This conflict really exposes how bad our fukking media is. Always with the clickbait and hyperbolic statements. Some independent journalist on twitter posted a video of Russian troops moving nuclear missiles. Turns out the video was from years ago. Our news media is really doing a disservice needlessly escalating shyt. It's dangerous and irresponsible.
What are you even talking about "the media"?
The statement was made on Twitter by a Ukrainian government official. No one in media has made the statement independently or claimed it was true, they have only reported that he said it.
The nuclear missiles moving claim was solely on Twitter, as you say. No mainstream media that I saw reported that except for a couple that debunked it as being old.
It's literally Twitter that you're bytching about, traditional media ain't had shyt to do with it.
