Not a chance. Eastern Ukraine is all mud because the warm winter didn't allow for the ground to freeze. Russia is going to face a nightmare trying to push into the country.

If they really try to move in they're going to take a lot of casualties. For logistical reasons alone it would take them forever to get to Kyiv.

I think people are assuming this is a slam dunk because Putin is the Boogeyman. You also gotta remember he's narcissistic and unhinged. He's pulled the trigger when it favored him the least.

They are coming through Belarus to Kyiv.

If US and Russia do go at it, it will be proxy war in Ukraine areas..kind of like how they have been at war over middle east. It will never go into actual countries. Feel bad for those who are actually living in those areas

and lastly because I feel like my first posts in this thread were too lighthearted.

I don't support military action or war anywhere, but I just don't like to see how hard we freak out when it's Russia taking that action while we occupied multiple countries and regularly dropped bombs and did drone strikes upon them for the last 20 years.

don't get up in arms over one when you weren't up in arms about the other or try to play some type of moral high ground. we don't have have it.
