The Ukrainian port city of Mariupol is suffering mass casualties and a water outage as it defends itself from a nonstop onslaught by Russian forces, according to its mayor Vadym Boichenko.
In a live broadcast on Ukrainian TV, Boichenko said:
The enemy occupying forces of the Russian Federation have done everything to block the exit of civilians from the city of half a million people.
Mariupol’s mayor said Russian forces had been “flattening us non-stop for 12 hours now”, the Interfax news agency reported.
We cannot even take the wounded from the streets, from houses and apartments today, since the shelling does not stop.

Exactly. I personally don't find enjoyment in seeing humans die, especially in horrific ways, and I dislike war as much as the average well-adjusted human being. And if Putin really has lost his mind or has something terminal and says "ashes to ashes, dust to dust", we're ALL getting smoked. Even if that's not on the table, I don't particularly find the idea of having World War 3 potentially popping off a good one.

Please prove me wrong, but it seems like the death toll from this “war” isn’t being put up on the news. Are people (civilians) actually dying in great numbers or did everyone evacuate on time and it’s just soldiers who make up the majority of the death count?
Has Ukraine not asked for formal help from other EU nations or U.S.? If the other countries got together to help out this wouldn’t even be a “thing” anymore.
