During the vietnam war, american generals ordered american pilots not to attack or bomb any vehicles or supply lines at the North Vietnam/Chinese boarder. You ask why? because the Russians and Chinese were the ones supplying arms and supplies to the North Vietnamese.

The concern was some american hot shot pilot bombs a Russian of Chinese supply truck or drops a bomb that misses its North Vietnamese target but hits a Chinese base on the Chinses side of the border and an all out war between China/Russia and the US would start.

Its like idiots don't even know what proxy wars are. Like they don't realize we been in proxy wars for 70 years...got damn folks are dumb.

Like the civil wars and toppling of governments in South America, parts of Africa, parts of Asia and the Middle East wasn't one big proxy war (US vs Soviet Union) from the the 50s thru the 80s.
