The latest on the Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

WASHINGTON — A senior U.S. intelligence official says Belarus is expected to send troops into Ukraine as soon as Monday to fight alongside Russian forces that invaded Ukraine last week.

Belarus has been providing support for Russia’s war effort, but so far has not taken a direct part in the conflict.

The American official has direct knowledge of current U.S. intelligence assessments and says the decision by Belarus’ leader on whether to bring Belarus further into the war depends on talks between Russia and Ukraine happening in the coming days. The official spoke anonymously to discuss the sensitive information.

Russian forces have encountered strong resistance from Ukraine defenders, and U.S. officials say they believe the invasion has been more difficult, and slower, than the Kremlin envisioned, though that could change as Moscow adapts.

It’s like some of you want (Hoping and wishing for) a nuke to hit us all smh :hhh:
Venn diagram of the same Covid lockdown wishing deadbeat shut in losers hoping for others to join them in miserable social life-less lives and the nuke will hit us is a circle. A government website is out there that gives advice for pretty much every scenario. Likely has been up for years.

That was literally a fluke tho. The US killed a top general of a foreign country, and they retaliated by bombing a US military base. The only reason it didnt escalate was because no American soldiers died in that attack and we chose to deescalate by not retaliating to that. God gave everybody an off ramp on that one, lets pray He gives us one now.
Yeah, seriously that's all we can do. Pray.

Cause I'm trying to have a playalistic sexy summer filled with Dj gigs and fine women. And nuclear war is just very unsexy.

Precision laser's Sir..It'll be way faster than any solid matter on Earth :yeshrug:

Two massive issues with that.

#1: Laser range sucks. The laser degrades the more air it travels through, you can't just fire it from forever away. The one plane-based laser the USA developed could only shoot down missiles from 20 miles away or so.

#2: Laser effectiveness is related to how long the laser can stay on target. The less time on target, the more powerful a laser you need to do the job. So when a cruise missile is moving at top speed, you need an extraordinarily powerful laser to knock it out in addition to needing to have extremely good aim. That's why the initial anti-missile lasers were designed to take the missile out on launch, when it's moving much slower....but they're fukked by how short the range is cause you ain't going to get within 20 miles of launch before that thing is gone. And we don't have lasers powerful enough to take out a missile at terminal velocity yet.

The US tested an anti missile system few years back, it actually worked on its first target..but then never hit another one after that.

I dont suppose nukes in their hanger can be hacked to detonate right there before xi or putin launches?
