One thing i just thought about with the news that India is meeting with the Russians is the absolute worst case scenario which pretty much gaureentees WW3 is if China and India cease their conflict and join a quasi coalition with Russia.

These countries could easily take over Eurasia since the only country with an adequate military in the region is South Korea, Japan would have been a key ally in this scenario but since they were neutered after WW2 they present no real threat. And there is alot of instabilty in South Asia with coups, civil wars, muslim extremist etc.

Also even though there are cultural differences NK and Vietnam are still indebted to China since they pretty much saved their asses and if Nato doesnt act and shows the chinks in their armor dont be surprised if other countries start to turn their back and join up with a supposed Russo-Sino-Indian coalition ie a potential new axis.

And India has VERY valuable info on the American grid since so much is outsourced and so many work in IT in the states they could easily turn to double agents.

ignoring schroeder, who is pro russian?

A large chunk of the business elite, to begin with. Why do you think Germany resisted to the US and built NS2? They are the ones who kept Merkel under pressure.

The german elite is divided on the strategic positioning of Germany. Germany is an industrial power. Always been since the 19th century. The dream of some people within the german elite s to have unlimited access to the vast russian resources. To combine Germany's technology and capital with russian resources.

Of course, you have a more pro US faction that looks westward and not eastward.

That's why Germany's actions, if you look closely, sometimes look schizophrenic.

They've definitely planned for a major cyberattack coming from Russia for years. That wouldn't be a black swan like Katrina or the Pandemic.
We had a plan for the pandemic. That’s what Obama learned after the H1N1 flu we were able to contain.

We didn’t plan on China trying to pretend like it wasn’t happening.

More than 150 senior Russian officials sign open letter condemning Putin's invasion of Ukraine | Daily Mail Online

More than 150 senior Russian officials have signed an open letter condemning Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine as 'an unprecedented atrocity' and warning of 'catastrophic consequences'.

The deputies said they were 'convinced' Russian citizens do not back the war and blamed Putin 'personally' for ordering troops into Ukraine in an attack 'for which there is no and cannot be justification'
