I worked Command and Control in the Air force for almost 8 years. All of our MAJOR exercises usually involved Russia or China because the DOD knew what their capabilities were/are. You believe Russia will stop at Ukraine? Or that China isn't paying close attention? This isn't Iraq. This isn't Afghanistan. This isn't Vietnam(I'm not downplaying these wars here). This can lead to a homefront attack on America soil. Russia regularly flies flies along the international skies for a reason even though it damn near violates treaties. They want it all, and aren't afraid of the consequences. This shyt is deep brehs. Pray for those you know who are overseas in international bases in Europe in the coming years.

Russia ain't looking to dominate Europe much less the world. they just looking to get the US and NATO off their backs. NATO really violated and worst of all did the Ukrainians dirty and got them caught up. Ukraine should have taken a neutral stance like the Fins.
NATO's main mandate is anti Russian, and it have been expanding towards Russia since the collapse of the USSR and even holding military exercises in bordering countries. Most nations would take that as a provocation including the united states.

It's like if china and a few other nations formed a pact to halt the expansion of the united states then wanted Mexico to join and start giving them weapons or holding military exercises in the Caribbean. The US would not let that fly.
