A lot of those old wrestlers that came up in the territory days and early to mid 90's are either dead before they reach 55-60, broke AF working these indie shows in high school gyms for a couple of hundred dollars, etc. I would rather these wrestlers spend their free time playing video games and reading comics than getting high and drunk and then dying in their 40's and 50's.

It is kind of immature to be doing that in the locker room. You don't see Cena doing that.

I think the "they're sitting back playing video games" complaint isn't about video games, but that the young guys aren't sitting around talking about the bidness and how to improve their characters/booking ideas/making themselves and their company better. They're playing kideo games instead. And that gripes the asses of old timers who see the young guys complaining about their positions all the time, but are too busy playing games instead of working on ways to improve or get noticed.

Good Ole Jr is :mjpls:huh

The video game stuff is only being brought up more now because Woods has his Youtube channel. We heard stuff here and there about guys playing video games backstage but not like we do now. I don't see the big deal if they want to play some games in there down time let them.

WWE talk how kid/family friendly they are the guys/girls have game night which WWE puts up on there youtube

JR specifically has been talking about the video game stuff since like...2008. I promise it has nothing to do with Woods. It might have something to do with :mjpls:though since the first time I remember him talking about it, he was using Shelton Benjamin as the example.

I don't think it's so much that they play but that they spend too much time playing. If I was there I would try to watch matches and soak up as much knowledge as I possibly could. This generation of guys is just different especially if they are WWE bred.

You take away the roids, weed, pills, coke, kayfabe related fukkery and add in a PG/family friendly image that doesn't even allow you to write your own promos and this is what you get. They're not the problem. They were conditioned to be this way.

The old timers who have a problem with it are similar to the back in my day folks who think you can drop out of high school and still get a good job at the steel mill and get a house at 20 types :manny:

This :russ::mjlol:

What if I told you that it was possible to do both? :ohhh:

You mean to tell me it's possible to multitask :usure::usure:???

its a lose/lose situation

Chill and play video games "they have no desire for the biz"

Try to get notice when you aint in the plans... yeah you're gonna be worse off
this...and then when someone actually has a good idea for themselves, creative goes "hmm that is a good idea....just not for you" and then give what was pitched to someone else.
