Also, havent read it in full yet but Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Cant Stop Talking by Susan Cain. I noticed there are a lot of variations of the 'I' personality type posting here, be it infj, intj or other. This book traces the origins of how western society became an extroverted world with some pretty fascinating studies behind it along with tips for navigating in different environments as an introvert. As I said didn't read in full yet but what I read so far was pretty good.

I read this last year.

Self-published in 1899 and sold door-to-door by the author, this classic African-American novel—a gripping exploration of oppression, miscegenation, exploitation, and black empowerment—was a major bestseller in its day. The dramatic story of a conciliatory black man and a mulatto nationalist who grow up in a racist America and are driven to join a radical movement dedicated to the creation of an all-black nation in Texas, Imperium in Imperio had a profound influence on the development of black nationalism.

I literally run through books. Sadly I have a habit of reading 2 books at a time ( which in my opinion congest different ideas with others and in so manner). Currently I'm reading awakening the beast within byanthony robins which is a solid read ( very viable information) plus civilization and its discontents by Freud. This year I've read a few books

Black economic by kunjufu ( very positive and enlightening read. If your black I would recommend)
Grinding it out by Ray Kroc
Lessons of history
Harvard business report learning to manage yourself
Black boy by Walter wright ( another essential read for anyone)
Quick read on kwanza
Quick read about Africa on a general scale
