Whatever sugarcoat excuses they can think of...when Rock had the title? Nothing but sell outs. Energy of the shows were up and ratings were hitting new highs for the 3 hour era. Things will level out and go back to mediocrity post Mania season. Ryback vs Cena? LOL. The guy who can't win on PPV and got SONNED to no end by Shield is gonna be a thread to Cena all of a sudden? Another predictable PPV.

Dude, there was nothing but sell outs and high energy naturally because its Mania season. Rock has a part in that but he's not what drew people to watch Mania. The streak is the reason. I thank him for a great Royal Rumble match and tossing that awful spinner belt in the bushes. Last year you may have had an argument because Mania 28 was built around him hands down. This year after the rumble and the clear buildup to a rematch with Cena people could give a fukk less what he was selling.

Wm season? shyt was half empty and the Rock comes back..the rating goes up a full point and shows were sold out. That wasnt yhe case pre Rock return in 2010 when you had Taker and Michaels headlining. Or the year before when they couldnt even sell out the HOF for with Austin as the headliner. I have no idea whonyou the Rock is but everything went through the roif since he came back. Business wise..then you Punk cussing all of a sudden..Cena rapping again...Ziggler doing the Zack Ryder shyt on Twitter...Rock upped the ante. You think the most bought one day sales in WM history was going pre Rock return. Nope. 51k in one day which was only rivaled by the Rock vs Hogan deal in Toronto.

It doesnt matter what people didnt give a fukk about this year....his effect was on opening day from the jump and definitely why they got the biggest gate in history. Everyone else was just thrown together...filler matches. Paul Bearer death as an angle? Laziness.

Since so many people bytched and complained I hope he stays away. He doesn't need Sports Entertainment anymore.

In the grand scheme of things, outside the internet wrestling bubble, I would imagine the vast majority of viewers enjoyed his run. If I were him the injuries would be a much larger concern than a few dissatisfied fans.

I enjoyed it he's got nothing left to prove, but all the people who are upset here and everywhere else needs to be mad at one man.

Jim Ross said:
The Rock's injury: "Found it pretty pathetic that many fans who seemingly believe all or most of what they read online felt that the Rock walked out on WWE Monday while missing RAW. Some people thrive on dirt and gossip...thrive may be a too nice a word...how about 'obsess' and believe damn near whatever they read. Rock was injured early on in the main event versus Cena but continued the match as the two men, who I signed back in the day, did the best that they could considering the situation. "
