im not talking about his wealth. he is not as big a star in hollywood as the rock. he as not as in-demand for roles as the rock. there are very few actors that are, and vin diesel is not one of them. period.

if everyone in this thread is actually underrating vin diesel, that STILL wouldn't put him on rocky's level. it would just make him underrated. so what.

he had a shot at being THE guy, back when he followed up the first fast movie with xXx, chronicles of riddikk, and eventually started experimenting with mainstream movies like the pacifier ($200M at the box office)... but at some point the flops started piling up and he ran right back to the fast franchise.

right now, regardless of how he generates his wealth, he is known primarily for the fast franchise and dropping duds any time he tries to do anything else that doesn't involve the words "i am groot" (bloodshot... aka $45M budget, $37M box office). that does not mean he's not filthy rich. but it does mean there are levels to superstardom.

You're not following the thread. Some said that Vin needs Dwayne for Fast 10 and he DOESN'T.... that's a fact. F9 over $700M during a pandemic when a lot of theaters weren't even open PROVES that they don't need Dwayne..
