If you're a huge fan of The Rock or wrestling fan, you should like it.
I don't know if the casual fan who doesn't care much about wrestling or the Rock will love it, but I doubt NBC is aiming for those audience viewers.
It was much better than Kenan's show.

This show is top shelf awesome.
Just wow for a first time viewing and in tv history tbh.
Excellent execution and on camera.
The casting of this show outside of andre.
Simply cause no one can recast andre the giant cause andre was just andre. Yet and still,....this show from the first episode was an amazing watch.
The woman playing the rock's mom is excellent casting.
Great five star first episode.
Where a real half hour show took place.
for a change on tv in the years of the 2000's.

Are you sure? I've read alot of mixed reviews. Some people are saying it's not funny or that the Rock's life is not interesting enough.

They killed the pilot.
The show feels like they sharpened the 'Fresh Off The Boat' formula to a fine point. He's the highest grossing actor in the world right now - I can't imagine the studio has a bunch of notes or will go behind his back to change things either.

Interesting concept, might watch. I remember reading his autobiography back in the day.
