They did alot of rushed moments in alot of his throwback scenes in S3 so they could squeeze alot of stuff in.

Apple TV is a tv box like this. it connects to any tv you have.

I have a lg 50 inch for my bedroom and another tv in my living room but they're both LG 4k tv's
in terms of what I recommend I guess it depends on what you want and how much you're willing to spend
but if you want a tv box like the Apple TV you could get that or there's the chrome cast or the Roku which works similar to Apple TV and is cheaper.
