And the early buzz about it from within the studio is fukking horrible. The studio is already looking to get a new director. And to be clear when I say it'll flop I mean it's not gonna do the numbers of the previous films. MIB3 has a better buzz than Amazing Spider-man.

He is a Hollywood draw, but he's not THE biggest draw in film history. G.I. Joe is the second film of a damaged franchise and it would have been going up against Avengers, MIB3, The Dark Knight Rises and Amazing Spider-Man.
