Definitely, he managed to get the movie released in China during their foreign movie black out period, he knows what he’s doing. Making himself an international mogul setting up his own franchises.

From what I hear a lot of these big Hollywood movies are financed by the Chinese (yes even the Marvel ones) so I'm sure Rock just said fukk it I'm gonna make all the bread there also.

The Rock has some solid movies and I wouldn't call him bad at all.... but you cant compare him to stallone or Arnold who can act. Both of them can put on performances even though Arnold is more limited but stallone does really good dramatic roles like rocky...

The Rock i feel always plays the same wrestling character in all of his movies. He makes fun movies but they are safe... honestly I would put Wesley Snipes ahead of him who I feel is heavily slept on

I'm usually not the one to nitpick on little things but when she was explaining to the cop how she so easily reset the alarm, why was dude acting like she was explaining quantum physics? She broke it down twice and both times were simple af. Bruh like

Yeah, this was not very good, and I say that as someone who was looking forward to this movie.

Turned into a cheesy family melodrama towards the end and the problem is the Rock refuses to play any role other than a stoic super human who always does what's right and is perfect.

This movie was in part a nod to Die Hard but what made Die Hard work was Willis' human flaws and charisma. Rock's character in this displayed none of that. He just wants to be the generic flawless hero in every movie (even in this movie he had a crowd admiring what he was doing). I think I'm done with his movies unless something comes along with really good reviews.
