Lol, Cody has to win. They've staked everything on him being the next John Cena like figure.

Would be a complete waste of time and effort over years of booking. Roman needs his comeuppance as well in storyline.

It would of been like Hogan coming back in 98 and taking Stone Cold's spot to go over HBK. Rock's a bigger star but if you put in the effort to get the other guy that over just give him the damn title.

Rock can be an amazing Authority figure now and wrestle in big matches when he has the time to train. Maybe they can even be the new age Austin/McMahon as well. So many more options with this route they took.

Like I said earlier, Cody actually superseded the Bloodline story since the endgame was always Roman vs Rock. Now the Cody fans are pissed because it's dawning on them that Cody is going to finish his story, and when that happens his hype will start to die quickly. Also the people saying that they didn't need Rock to sell Mania since it's already sold out fail to realize that he's saving us from pretty boring road to Wrestlemania. Without Rock we'd have Cody crying even more and Roman still being absent. Seth is busy trying to ether Rock while getting his ass handed to him weekly by Drew.
