He needs to start making R rated movies if he wants to be in the conversation with stallone, arnold ect.

I get the desire to see the Rock expand, but if he’s knocking down $20 million + a film, what’s the point? He’s never going to be an Oscar contender and R-rated films tend not to be high grossers. What if anything does he really gain by doing that?

I follow both on IG and Rock was the first one I thought of when I saw that. Rock does do a lot of humble brags about the sacrifices he makes. Would love to see those two co-star in something.

It's crazy to me how far The Rock has came. I remember this nikka had me singing alone with The Rock & watching the great one drop peoples elbows on foo's. To damn near generating a billion dollar profit for Hollywood. ( Even though His last movie was shyt )feels like proud prude dad watching His only Son that made it!

the movies he’s been doing are just too plain and safe. Take a chance Dwayne, make some violent R movie with a young director who has something to prove.
Terminator, Rambo and Rocky were all unknown unhyped movies initially. Die hard also had a lot of problems during filming

Well if we are being real those movies were actually those guys breakout roles ...maybe not Rambo but it helped turn Stallone into an actual action star
