Me neither but he has been solid recently. He's still young. He always had talent. And his defense has improved. I say see what we have.

Him and jones have stepped up. But the. Nigguh be bricking wide open threes. I ain't saying they got to heroball it like Delfino but at least hit the wide open shots . These nigguh's be missing wide open shots from the top of the circle .....we need some shooters in the worst way. We just traded away our best three point shooter.

We really have only one great three point shooter(Parsons).

mchale lost the game for them with that ass lineup of lin, asik, and mountjehoweveryou spell his name to start the 4th. it was a seasaw game up until that point, then that lineup goes in and there goes a long stretch where they couldn't score, lin was ass, and mchale actually called a timeout but didn't bring back dwight or harden. instead brought in parsons who was clearly struggling all night, and continued to let lin do whatever it was that struggle offense was. So clippers bumped the lead to 6, then 9 at one point and the defense was never good enough to get them back over the hump.

i dont mind asik and dwight in at the same time later in the quarter but they then should've gone to dwight post ups instead of trying to post up Harden b/c obviously with that lineup they are going to zone on him and leave whichever of the big men open on the perimeter. And whether fatigue or carelessness, there were a couple hustle plays on defense to secure the rebound or box out that houston didn't do that kept them from piecing together a run. That barnes tip dunk for example was unacceptable. But ehh, whatever. wasted opportunity along with the gstate game the other day to really set themselves apart but it is what it is.

Dmo has to be the most underrated player on the team. He deserves a lot more credit than he gets. He's been better than Jones lately and last night might have been the straw that broke the camel's back with him in the starting lineup. The moment Dmo (and Hamilton for that matter) came in we started playing better. The moment he went out the Clippers went on another run. The moment he came back in (I believe Hamilton came in at the same time again fwiw) their run stopped. His defense is better (TEAM defense, notice how much more often he's in the correct spot as opposed to Terrence) and now he's stopped fouling so damn much and is doing a better job at staying grounded and using his length to change shots which lets him stay on the court. His shooting % is better because he's not pressing like he did when getting the few scrap minutes he used to get and he's so much more decisive with the ball on offense. It's amazing how much quicker he is now at identifying where his teammates are on the floor and getting them the ball. Ball movement is really nice when he's in the game. In saying all of that we still aren't using what may be his biggest strength enough which is offensive skill in the post. I think he's got a long way to go still but his improvement is promising.

Side note, Jordan Hamilton is looking like Von Wafer with a brain on offense with the added bonus of rebounding. Dude has a chance to play a huge role for this team. He should be the 6th man if he keeps playing at this level. We need to start resting Harden and Parsons more. They're young but all of those miles will catch up with them eventually.

We shouldn't have even been in that position. I can't remember the last time we missed so many easy baskets and pretty much everybody was guilty of it. If I'm putting the blame on anyone it's Jones and Parsons who were fukking terrible last night. I definitely agree with you that it was a missed opportunity. We should have won that game if we executed well. At least they didn't run us out the gym like the last two times. Forget us as fans, these dudes have a lot to prove to themselves during these upcoming games against other contenders.

So Miami and Indiana this week :patrice:

With both of em gunning for best record in the L :patrice::patrice:

I mean, everything I wanted to know about where houston is at (and where they still need to go) was answered the past couple weeks in the clippers, warriors, and suns games... the good, the bad and the ignorant.

So really, i'm just looking for a good game and maybe some baby steps :manny:

In other words, if both teams are hitting their shots and its a close game (like how the clippers game was), then i just want to see some better late game execution... or at least consistent play spanning more than just 2 and 1/2 quarters. That's for both the mia and indy games this week.
