more robots leads to more unemployment which leads to less income, less taxes, etc. economy eventually crashes. more and more revolts, rich are outnumbered but at the same time more clever, as long as the people believe they can come up, they'll defend the system. will the usual tactics of divide and conquer win as usual? even if the people win, will robots be prohibited? where do you draw the line? should video games be prohibited because a machine is entertaining you instead of real people in your living room? where do you go from there? what is the next economic stage if there is no income to be made by most people?

Next there will be harsh laws on vandalism of these robots. People will attack the robots out of frustration and the robot police force will either kill or imprison the attackers.

I was wondering what the next big commercial invention will be and now its clear.

Even airplane pilots and ship captains aren't safe in these human streets.....this shiit, if it comes to fruition gone disrupt so much of the freight transport industry...

An amphibious cargo drone...:wow:

A Startup’s Plan To Cut Air Freight Costs In Half With 777-Size Drones | Fast Company

" The idea is simple: Shipping by air is fast, but expensive. Boat is much cheaper, but very slow. So why not send all those boxes and packages on an un-piloted, amphibious Boeing 777-sized drone that can fly point to point and eventually drop off as much as 200,000 pounds of cargo at a seaside port? It would carry that cargo at about half the cost of normal air freight thanks to a more efficient use of fuel and the lack of an expensive crew. "

If folks were smart they would get certified UAV/Drone training, get FAA credentials, buy a high quality drone and go into business for themselves.

I know a dude who does freelance work helping energy companies inspect their boilers in nuke plants. Makes more than I do for 20 minutes of work a week.

Its crazy, the rise of automation should be a good thing. We should be entering an age of enlightenment. With shorter or nonexistent work weeks, people would be free to pursue their passions, leading to unprecedented innovation in science and the arts and increased wealth for the citizens (kinda like when white people came up off slavery minus the moral issues)

Instead, we've been fighting each other for crumbs so long this is seen as a bad thing.

I'll say this tho, you won't see full scale automation until the ptb figure out a way to better control the population (or kill off a sizeable chunk). If they displace all those people's ability to earn a living without sharing the wealth the gates will be stormed

I've been wanting to make a thread asking if we are over populated and population control. There's already a shortage of jobs.

But you know how nikkas are on this site.

I don't think so. If people really were overpopulated nature itself would take care of that.

The problem is you have a class of people who want to control everything, from the electrical grid to the food we eat. When you here "overpopulation" it just means "more people than we can comfortably control"

People will adapt and figure it out like we've always done throughout history. If you think about it chattel slavery was made obsolete due to technology not the Civil War. The south was forced to adapt. Even tho some states still haven't but that their fault

I think chattel slavery ended due to the realization that, instead of housing slaves, feeding and clothing them, providing medical care to keep them productive, and having to deal with possible revolts, all they had to do was grant them "freedom", get the same net labor and have the slaves pay the slavers for everything I mentioned above.
