2 negatives I took from this is the storage space, and the fact it's not completely backwards compat for all PS4 games at launch

it's like a brand new computer and you are learning it specs and what it can do type of thing. there is nothing special about this. the hardware is already outdated to say the least. i think the price rage of 500 seems fair.
quick question

why do people care so much about hardware and specs? Arent the games the most important thing?

The presentation itself was boring. They should never do anything like this again. The specs was almost what i was expecting. I`m upgrading my PC in 2021, and copping the 5. Best combination imo, unless PS5 exclusives show up on PC. In that case i`d be done with consoles.

we care about hardware and specs at this point because the whole event was about hardware and specs. we can talk about games in a different thread.

Ray tracing will be a big difference between systems. That load time won’t be noticeable.

half second load time (ps5) vs one second (Xbox) is worth the extra power Microsoft invested in their system.

That ps5 will be loud as shyt also. I can hear the ps4 from a room away and the Xbox one s is quiet as shyt. If the same goes for next gen it’s not worth the fan spinning that loud for a weaker console.

that's what I want. I got a new PC and PC gaming is okay. It's not that bad but the games are limited. It would be nice to see PS games for the PC officially supported by Sony. It's all software.

Cause performance is important now too

Good example....

Kingdom hearts just finally came to Xbox a few weeks ago, and included was 0.2. On PS4 it was 1800p and ran subpar at like 45fps...you can play it but it wasn't a proper experience at all. Now on Xbox one X its full 4K at a locked 60fps....its smoother and makes a big difference.

First party games have nothing to worry about, they'll get the proper performance. Third party games the ones that suffer
